Because vessels are driven by huge engines and sailing on the ocean which has a lot of salt, the fluorescent lightings should be working properly and endure without any malfunction. Furthermore, there are various lightings depending on each cabins, so lighting company should have strong technical skills and scale to produce various lightings. These technical skill approvals are recognized in the world as approvals for hundreds of certifications, applying over 1,000 vessels and the 7th (seven) shipyards for 10 (ten) years.
