[INQ. NO. 2306E04] NuriFlex Co., Ltd., a company specializing in energy IoT platforms, participated in 2023 Enlit Africa held at the
International Convention Center in Cape Town, South Africa, from May 16 to 18 – in order to introduce a lineup of future-energy IoT
technology and AMI solutions.
Enlit Africa is an international energy exhibition that focuses on solving the energy infrastructure shortage in African countries.
About 250 companies including NuriFlex participated in this event.
NuriFlex showcased a customized solution for Africa Prepaid AMI (Intelligent Meter Reading Infrastructure) total solution and all AMI product groups developed with various communication methods such as wired, wireless, and mobile (WiSUN, ZigBee, GPRS/3G/LTE, LTE-M).
NuriFlex’s online prepaid AMI system is a system that allows users to use electricity by paying electricity bills in advance. It is mainly used in African countries where the electricity theft rate is high. The online prepaid AMI system, which has various credit charging methods and has a data remote monitoring function, is reported to have drawn keen attention from African power companies, buyers, and investors.
In particular, NuriFlex recently announced its entry into the electric power AI market through the launch of its monitoring system for stolen electricity. The system is a product that collects electricity usage data with only software and learns on its own to respond when an abnormal pattern is detected.
A spokesperson from the company explained, “We combined our prepaid AMI system and the detection system for stolen electricity function in line with the situation in Africa, which is suffering great difficulties due to the recent surge in energy prices and shortages of supply. We will accelerate the expansion of the African market by securing AMI solutions optimized for the African region.”
