[INQ. NO. 2308E20] Established in 2021, COSMOS LAB Co., Ltd. is a startup that develops and manufactures zinc-bromine aqueous secondary batteries.

The core technology, water-electrolyte technology, is a next-generation battery technology that prevents battery fires by 100%. It does not use rare minerals such as lithium, nickel, and cobalt, so there is no global raw material supply issue. As the activated carbon made by burning wood waste or coconut shells is used, it is eco-friendly. With its light weight, it is excellent in energy-density versus weight.

1.65V 2.5Ah single cell (GEN 1.)
This is a prismatic single-cell battery with a voltage of 1.65V and a maximum capacity of 2.5Ah.

There is 100% no risk of battery fire — even when penetrating, bending, or cutting — and it has the world’s highest energy-density among water-based batteries with energy density six times higher than commercially available lead-acid batteries.

In addition, the operating temperature environment is wide and safe, from -30⁰C cryogenic to +60⁰C high temperature. There are no ignition problems even in high temperature and high humidity environments — and COSMOS LAB has a system that can perform sufficient capacity without insulating parts in cryogenic environments.

12V 2.5Ah module(GEN 1.)
This is a 1.65V module product that is series-combined and is a high-voltage product of 12V.

It is 100% non-incendive and can be applied to 12V class applications as a module product with high voltage and energy density.

The operating temperature range is as wide as that of single cells, and since cooling, insulation, and fire protection systems are not added, the efficiency is superior to that of standard secondary batteries or lead-acid batteries.

Its terminal connections part can also be customized according to the customer’s application, and it is a product with excellent output as it can output up to 6C.
