NURIEYE-5800 is a medical device for dry-eye treatment, which has received approval for clinical trials from the Korean government, and has been verified for safety and effectiveness through clinical trials on 144 patients with dry eyes at two government-designated clinical trial centers at two university general hospitals. To date, Seodong Medical’s NURIEYE-5800 is the only product that has received approval through clinical data reviews.

NURIEYE-5800 was developed and is being manufactured by Seodong Medical for the purpose of treating dry-eye syndrome and relieving minor muscle pain around the eyes. Anyone can easily use it by simply using the automatic mode with a single ON/OFF button on the controller, and thereby treating dry-eye syndrome.
NURIEYE-5800 massages the eyes for 15 minutes with 15 types of vibration massage, five levels of pneumatic pressure massage, and high/low temperature heat massage — and improves the treatment of eye-related diseases such as cataracts and glaucoma. It treats dry eyes by loosening stiff muscles around the eyes, melting fatty oils through heat, and expelling them through pneumatic massage.
In Korea, this dry-eye treatment medical device has proven its effectiveness and safety through approval by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, and its technology has been recognized. Due to the nature of medical devices, exporting them is difficult, so Seodong Medical plans to open up sales channels in overseas markets by demonstrating its technology through real-time product experience to domestic and foreign buyers at KIMES 2024. Seodong Medical is currently exporting to overseas buyers in the United States, Russia, Vietnam, Mongolia, and Hong Kong.
