In addition to its primary camera module business, CammSys has developed healthcare sensor modules applicable to IT, wearables, and hearables. These include body temperature sensor modules, photoplethysmogram (PPG) sensor modules, and proximity sensor modules.
CammSys is now working toward mass-production of these products for its client companies.
In particular CammSys’s body temperature sensor module stands out for its minimized size and height, making it ideal for wearable and hearable devices. It also features low-power operation, ensuring extended battery life.
Furthermore, CammSys can develop and supply these modules in package forms optimized for client companies’ product performance, tailoring them to specific requirements. These modules are particularly suitable for smart watches and True Wireless Stereo (TWS) devices.
The healthcare module applied to TWS features a PPG sensor module and proximity sensor module on the left and right sides, respectively. This optimal design preserves the aesthetics of the finished products while enabling additional functions in TWS devices. As a result, it is contributing significantly to performance enhancements in client companies’ premium product lineups.
The PPG sensor module and proximity sensor module, applied to smartwatches and True Wireless Stereo (TWS) devices, are developed as composite modules in a Printed Board Assembly (PBA) type that includes an Microcontroller Unit (MCU). This allows the end-product manufacturers to shorten the development period and quickly integrate these modules into their products.
Additionally, CammSys provides algorithms that can be utilized with various sensor modules, enhancing their functionality.
