AI-based Musculoskeletal Examination Equipment

[INQ. NO. 2506E16] SYM Healthcare Co., Ltd. introduced AI-based musculoskeletal examination equipment and digital rehabilitation treatment solutions at the Korea Rehabilitation·Homecare·Welfare Expo 2025 (Reha·Homecare 2025) held in Seoul.
The newly released AI-based musculoskeletal examination equipment can examine posture and joint function. When you stand about 4 meters away from the equipment in a position where your entire body is being filmed, the five cameras installed on the equipment film the user from various angles. The AI analyzes the measured data to detect problems such as incorrect posture, movement, and joint range of conditions, thereby recommending rehabilitation exercises.
The data analyzed by the equipment is linked to a smartphone-based digital treatment app. After executing the rehabilitation exercise function on the app, if you film your entire body with the front camera of your smartphone, the AI will track your joints and help you maintain the correct posture. This allows you to easily perform rehabilitation exercises at home.

“Anyone can easily receive musculoskeletal examination and treatment even in medically inconvenient areas. Most musculoskeletal examination equipment only uses one camera, so the accuracy is not high. For this reason, we are developing and improving examination equipment that can provide effective results, help doctors diagnose, and improve patient reliability,” explained a spokesperson for the company.

SYM Healthcare obtained medical-device manufacturing and quality-management standards (GMP) certification for its AI musculoskeletal examination and digital treatment ‘4DEYE’ last year.
