MUHA Inc., since its establishment in 2017, has been integrating core technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution such as IoT and AI to deliver tailored solutions to its clients by leveraging its accumulated expertise in hardware, firmware, and application software for industrial plant control systems.
Led by a development team with over 10 years of R&D experience, MUHA specializes in high-performance embedded system hardware design, real-time OS, middleware, sensor interfaces, and IoT system integration.
In particular, its innovative diagnosis equipment system for the DCS I/O module & relay significantly improves operational efficiency in the maintenance of power plant control systems. This solution has been successfully delivered and actively utilized at multiple power generation sites of Korea’s five major power companies, and Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP).
The diagnosis equipment system for the DCS I/O module & relay is a health-testing device developed to prevent power-plant shutdowns caused by malfunctions or failures of I/O (input/output) modules and relay modules used in power plant distributed control systems (DCS).

The core function of this equipment is to significantly reduce the time required for power-plant DCS maintenance by fully automating the health-testing procedure through diagnostic software that provides a one-click diagnostic function. It accurately diagnoses the health of modules and relays and provides detailed diagnostic reports, and uses a barcode reader to accurately identify DCS I/O module and relay information.
In particular, the database-history management system based on diagnostic results enables continuous tracking and monitoring of the integrity of each module and relay, thus playing a key role in maintaining a stable operating environment at power plants.
The excellence of this technology has been proven through the registration of two related patents, certification as an innovative product by the Public Procurement Service, and certification by the Small and Medium Business Technology Market.
Supplied to Numerous Power Plants
The system is currently successfully supplied to and operated in numerous power plants in Korea, including the Saeul Nuclear Power Plant, Muju Pumped Storage Power Plant, and Yeochun Pumped Storage Power Plant of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co., Ltd.
