X-PECTER Medical Radiation-Reducing Apparatus
The company’s export mainstays include X-PECTER medical radiation-reducing apparatus. Consisting of ― medical X-ray radiation-shielding lenses; medical C-arm radiation shielding lenses; ordinary radiation shielding lenses; and radiation shielding sheets ― the X-PECTER reduces as much as 80% of the radiation generated by medical radiodiagnostic equipment such as X-ray, C-arm and computed tomography (CT).

Notably, they have technological characteristics that prevent the generation of any diagnostic-image interference.
Unlike existing radiation-shielding products centered on personal-protection apparatus such as lead aprons and lead gloves, EIGHT MARGIN’s X-PECTER apparatuses are installed in the frontal part of radiation X-ray tubes. Accordingly, they effectively shield at least 80% of the major radiation passing through the tube.

Since its initial release on the market in 2023, the X-PECTER has been supplied to more than 180 medical medical centers in Korea. Operating two domestic sales agents, the manufacturer has recently signed sole-agency agreements with buyers in the United States, China, Taiwan, and Indonesia.

EIGHT MARGIN has constantly sought to gain the leading position in the global market of special non-metal radiation-shielding materials and apparatuses for medical or industrial uses. Among the company’s additional product line-up are X-GUARDIAN radiation-shielding sheets for use in the medical field, and X-DIOS radiation-shielding apparatuses for industrial non-destructive testing (NDT) equipment.
