AI-based Robotics Solution

[INQ. NO. 2601E10] Doosan Robotics recently announced that its AI-based robotics solution, Scan & Go, won the Best of Innovation Award in the AI category and the Innovation Award in the robotic category, respectively, at CES 2026, the world’s largest IT and consumer electronics show.
Early last year, Doosan Robotics announced its transformation into an intelligent robotics solutions company, and has focused on developing innovative products with the goal of securing future growth engines and strengthening its global technological competitiveness. As a result, Doosan’s first intelligent robotics solution won the Best of Innovation Award.
Scan & Go is a platform that combines a robotic arm and an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) and applies physics-based AI and advanced 3D vision – in order to perform various tasks on its own.
This innovative product scans the surfaces of large, complex structures such as turbine blades, aircraft fuselages, and a building’s external façade, generates an optimal work path, and then performs tasks such as inspection, sanding, and grinding.

Not only does this solution, operated in a plug-and-play manner, save work time by eliminating the need to create separate design drawings for complex tasks, but also delivers work precision of 0.1 mm. Furthermore, torque sensors mounted on the six axes of the robot arm enable real-time force adjustments regardless of the work surface, and the solution also boasts the industry’s highest level of safety (PLe, Cat4).
