[INQ. NO. 2601E07] Daedong Robotics, an AI robotics company within the Daedong Group, recently announced that its divot repair AI robot for golf courses, DivotFix, jointly developed with HL Group, won a CES 2026 Innovation Award.
DivotFix is an intelligent autonomous robot that detects damaged areas of grass (divots) that occur during play on a golf course using vision AI and LiDAR, and then uses a quantitative spraying system to inject and repair divot sand.
With the development of DivotFix, Daedong Robotics is expanding its robotics portfolio, which primarily focuses on agriculture, into outdoor service robots for leisure, sports, and public infrastructure.

After commercialization of the robot, Daedong Robotics expects to create synergies by combining the golf-course sales network of its parent company DaedongMobility with HL D&I Halla’s experience in golf-course maintenance.
