Hair-loss Treatment Medical Device
WON MEDCO’s Hair Beam Air is the first hair-loss treatment medical device developed in Korea, in 2009. Approved by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, it utilizes LLLT (low-level laser therapy) technology.
When blood flow and oxygen levels in the blood vessels connected to the hair follicles increase by directly delivering LD and LED light to the scalp, it increases blood flow and oxygen levels in the blood vessels connected to the hair follicles. This stimulates capillaries, dilating and supplying nutrients to the hair follicles and roots, thereby promoting hair growth and enhancing hair thickness. It is effective in treating hair loss, strengthening hair thickness, increasing hair density, accelerating hair growth, regenerating aged hair, repairing damaged hair, and providing scalp care.

WON MEDCO is the first in Korea to complete clinical trials at two national university hospitals (Seoul National University Bundang Hospital, and Kyungpook National University Hospital) for its latest Hair Beam Air for hair-loss treatment.
The clinical results showed that after six months of use, the number of hairs per 1cm² increased by 17.2, and hair thickness increased by an average of 12.6 μm. These are the best and most reliable figures for hair-loss treatments in Korea.
