Encrypted Facial Recognition (EFR)
Traditional facial recognition systems are vulnerable to data breaches because facial matching is performed in plaintext.
At first glance, reconstructing a facial image from facial landmark data—commonly referred to as a facial template—may seem improbable due to its numerical vector format. However, recent advances have made it increasingly feasible to reverse-engineer facial templates into facial images.
To effectively protect facial templates, it is crucial to secure not only the database where they are stored, but also the face matching process itself. EFR, powered by CryptoLab’s fast and secure FHE (Fully Homomorphic Encryption), keeps facial data encrypted at all times.
EFR is immune to data breaches, side-channel attacks, supply chain risks, insider threats, and a range of other cyber and privacy threats, because the data is always encrypted—even while being computed upon. EFR performs encrypted facial recognition in a fraction of a second against tens of millions of encrypted face template vectors with GPU acceleration. Two-person Electric Rice Cooker

It also serves as a sub-rice cooker that makes it easy to prepare white rice, mixed grains, and even baby food and healthy porridge that match a baby’s diet. It has a water-control guide inside to maintain a consistent rice texture and taste. It also has a non-stick coated inner pot that is resistant to scratches and heat to enhance durability. The cover is detachable and can be easily removed and washed.
When carrying the rice cooker, it can be easily moved with a detachable power cord, and a silicone cord cover that prevents water flow, and prevents electric shock and fire accidents caused by steam during cooking. In addition, it has a warming and reservation function that operates for up to 12 hours.
Cuckoo Electronics also released a portable two-person electric rice cooker storage bag for campers. It features a round zipper puller and slide, embossed lining, and the bag can be purchased separately.
A spokesperson for the company explained, “Sales of premium rice cookers are increasing, but we released this new product to provide a variety of options for 1-2 person households looking for gourmet appliances,” adding, “We will continue to introduce gourmet appliances that utilize our technologies, such as induction, microwave ovens, and air fryers.”

Intelligent Video Surveillance & Analysis System

According to the company, the camera technology itself has recently become standardized to the point where the technology is similar among companies, but there are differences in the software that utilizes the recorded files.
Fodics System has developed software that can directly distribute and store images, and has advanced items that allow images to be automatically distributed and processed more quickly, and these are being distributed to government organizations. InterBattery 2025

Held on the largest-ever scale
InterBattery 2025, which was held from March 5 to 7 in Seoul, Korea, with 77,000 visitors, ended successfully. This year’s event was the largest ever, with 688 battery companies from 13 countries around the world and 2,330 booths.
The Battery Conference, where directors from three Korean battery companies ― LG Energy Solution, Samsung SDI, and SK On ― participated as speakers, attracted nearly 1,000 visitors. The Battery Job Fair for battery talent recruitment attracted about 3,000 participants, creating a huge crowd. In fact, from the opening day on March 5 to the last day of the event, there were long lines of people waiting to enter the exhibition hall, and the booths of major companies were jam-packed with people trying to visit.

These booths drew keen attention of visitors by unveiling new battery products and technologies that will lead the future global battery market.
LG Energy Solution was a great drawcard by exhibiting the next-generation cylindrical battery 46 series that won the InterBattery Award, together with the Aptera Motors solar mobility vehicle that was introduced at CES 2025 in January.
Samsung SDI showcased differentiated technologies with its so-called ‘dream battery,’ all-solid-state battery, and advanced square battery products. It also displayed the 50-ampere (A) ultra-high-output cylindrical battery that won the ‘InterBattery Award,’ showing its determination to dominate the future battery market.

SK On emphasized its diversified portfolio by exhibiting all three form factors (product types) of pouch, square, and cylindrical. It also boasted its technological prowess in the safety field by unveiling a wireless battery management system (BMS) that does not require wiring.
In particular, this exhibition featured a feast of new battery technologies, with a variety of next-generation battery technologies competing fiercely. LG Energy Solution has revealed its plan to build an all-solid-state pilot line within the year. Samsung SDI has reaffirmed its plan to mass-produce its sulfide-based all-solid-state batteries in the second half of 2027. Meanwhile, SK On has presented a specific roadmap, stating that it will develop a prototype of a polymer-oxide composite battery this year, develop a pilot in 2026-2027, and commercialize them in 2028.

Competition to dominate the cylindrical battery market was also fierce. LG Energy Solution introduced the 46 series (diameter 46mm) cylindrical battery with increased energy and output compared to the existing 2170 cell (diameter 21mm, height 70mm). Samsung SDI unveiled a 50A-class ultra-high-output cylindrical battery with significantly enhanced output and the next-generation 46-pi lineup. In addition, SK On also introduced the actual 46-pi cylindrical battery for the first time.

This exhibition is evaluated as having established InterBattery as a truly global representative battery industry exhibition with the largest-ever number of overseas companies and organizations participating in the exhibition. The number of overseas companies participating in InterBattery has been increasing significantly every year ― from 101 in 2023, to 115 last year, and 172 this year.
The 172 companies and organizations from 13 countries participated including the USA, UK, China, Japan, and the Netherlands, introducing the latest technologies and new products by company and disclosing various kinds of information for attracting investments to each nation. In particular, BYD and EVE, two leading Chinese cell manufacturers, participated in this InterBattery for the first time, and a total of 79 Chinese companies participated in InterBattery this year, the largest number yet.
