[INQ. NO. 2404E07] TRUEN, a company specializing in on-device (edge) AI camera-based video surveillance platforms, unveiled the AI camera TA Series with high performance and various artificial intelligence (AI) functions at the 23rd International Security Exhibition & Conference (SECON 2024).
The AI camera introduced by TRUEN was jointly developed with Hailo, an AI SoC (System on Chip) company. By applying TRUEN’s AI technology to an optimized, high-performance AI SoC that supports video processing and analysis, it is expected to provide users with innovative solutions that support various artificial intelligence (AI) functions, high accuracy, and strong security.
TRUEN’s AI camera (TA series) has a ‘smart shot’ function that recognizes optimal objects in real time; a behavior analysis function that recognizes fights, collapses, loitering, crowding – and it has several artificial intelligence (AI) functions including vehicle safety monitoring functions such as license plate recognition and vehicle speed detection, simultaneously.

Based on its high SoC performance, the TA series has increased the recognition distance and number of simultaneously recognized objects by up to two times compared to existing products – and has the advantage of executing multiple artificial intelligence (AI) functions at the same time. For example, a vehicle surveillance system that simultaneously executes artificial intelligence (AI) functions such as object detection and automatic license plate recognition (ANPR) is possible.
TRUEN is developing artificial intelligence (AI) functions (AI WDR, AI De-fog, AI DIS, AI De-noising, AI De-blurring) to improve video quality for accurate object detection even in adverse conditions such as bad weather or low-light environments. Through this, the company expects to improve real-time object recognition on-device while providing the best image quality.
A spokesperson for the company explained, “We are solidifying our position by leading the technology in the field of AI video surveillance by providing complete and scalable on-device (Edge) AI solution products through the launch of our high-end on-device (Edge) AI IP camera.”

[INQ. NO. 2404E06] INNODEP, the No. 1 company in Korea’s CCTV integrated control center market share, has unveiled NEOVISION, a 3rd-generation intelligent screening control solution using NVIDIA’s framework.
INNODEP participated in the 23rd International Security Exhibition & Conference (SECON 2024) held at KINTEX in Ilsan, Gyeonggi-do, and introduced an open AI platform smart building, smart transportation and smart mobility products.
The one that received the most attention was the open AI platform ‘NEOVISION.’ INNODEP, to develop this 3rd-generation intelligent screening control solution, has utilized 100% of the performance of the graphics processing unit (GPU) by applying the NVIDIA framework. In addition, the system was improved so that it can be easily upgraded by breaking away from the in-house development method and introducing open source.
A spokesperson for the company explained, “By applying the NVIDIA framework, we increased the number of channels analyzed from 70 to 100. We developed an engine that can quickly respond to various analysis needs such as safety accidents and disaster prediction.”

NEOVISION can check six types of safety and illegal issues on CCTV screens in real time, including violence, trespassing, loitering, illegal dumping, falling, and arson. If a situation occurs, you can take immediate action through instant notification.
During the exhibition, it was revealed that people’s actions in CCTV footage were analyzed and labeled as ‘violence.’ Crowd management, which can determine the level of risk through analysis of floating population in a specific area, also received attention.
INNODEP plans to supply NEOVISION not only to local governments but also to industrial sites to prevent major disasters. The company explained that it is a platform that analyzes safety environments such as falls, fires, and collapses, and records all measures taken for each site situation.

Output Leak-blocking Solution

https://korean-electronics.com//inquiry

[INQ. NO. 2404E05] At the 23rd International Security Exhibition & Conference (SECON 2024), an output leak-blocking solution for the security of document leaks was presented by Anysell Co., Ltd.
This solution consists of security paper, a security output sensor, and a security gate. The security paper that forms the basis of the solution has patterns engraved on its surface like Korean paper.
With the alloy wire mixed at the pulp stage, the general paper is processed into the so-called ‘electronically sensitive’ security paper.
The security output sensor is installed in the multifunctional device. It separates security paper from regular paper and controls technology and information to be printed only on the security paper. When the regular paper is fed in, it controls the fed-paper to be printed as blank paper without any contents.
If an attempt is made to secretly leak the security paper with the technology and information printed on it, the security gate detects the alloy wire contained in the security paper and generates an alarm sound. Detecting not only in clothing but also in bags and shoe soles is possible.

In addition to basic paper sizes such as A4 and A3, customization is possible in special sizes for printing drawings. They can be attached in the form of stickers to reagents or parts in the laboratory, and there have been cases of producing research notes.
“Technology and information leaks are occurring in various ways through paper documents. Various types of leaks are occurring including taking out one to two documents, putting documents back after copying those documents,” explained a senior manager of the company.
He went on to say, “In current times, we are moving into a paperless era, but paper documents unavoidably have to be produced, and if we focus only on digital security, leaks are likely to be happen. We think the solution could be considered as the final stage of blocking the leaks of technology and information.
