Please Briefly Introduce Your Company
DAEHO I&T Co., Ltd. is an ICT and nano-SiC fiber technology company providing ICT network solutions, life-care smart solutions, and nano-SiC fiber heating solutions. Since we started as a one-man business in 2021, we currently have grown into a global small hidden company through a stable manufacturing base, outstanding manpower, and constant R&D.

What are Your Main Business Areas?
We have two main business areas: ICT and advanced new materials. First, the ICT area includes heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), building management system (BMS) control solutions, and location-tracking solutions using GPS technology. Second, the advanced new materials area develops nano-SiC fiber and heaters using it and applies them to the heating industry.

What is the Location-tracking Solution?
It is a product that can protect your precious family and valuable assets. It was developed to target the consumer goods market. The product was named ‘FINDME.’ It is a small terminal equipped with GPS. FINDME can identify the location of people, especially older or physically disabled people and women and children exposed to danger.
Furthermore, it can make an emergency call to a guardian in case of an emergency. Recently, more customers want to apply this product for various other purposes, such as for pets, bicycles, and suitcases.

Please Explain the Advantages of the Nano SiC Fiber Heater
SiC fiber is a material that is not burned or melted even at ultra-high temperatures (over 1,500°C). We developed a heater using SiC fiber and named the brand ‘GRONIQ.’ We are now applying it to various heating systems. GRONIQ, compared to existing heaters, has excellent energy efficiency due to its low power consumption. It is a highly efficient and eco-friendly heater with zero carbon emissions when heating.
It is expected to be a new energy source in various areas, including industry, defense, and civilian demand, beyond the previous limits of SiC fiber, which had been used in the high-tech area only.

What are the Export Markets You are Currently Focusing on and Which Market Do You Want to Pioneer in the Future?
At this point, our ICT network solution is being exported to Europe, North America, India, and Asia. The HVAC market is in constant demand throughout the world, and the market is getting bigger every year.
We are planning to bring the nano-SiC fiber heater to the global heater market in the future. Our goal is to introduce our technology and products and pioneer new markets in China, America, Germany, and Japan, where the heater market is huge.

Do You Have Any Messages for Potential Overseas Buyers?
The nano-SiC fiber heater consumes less electricity and has better efficiency than existing heaters. Also, it doesn’t produce any harmful substances, such as carbon, when heated. The nano-SiC fiber will be introduced to the global market under the brand name ‘GRONIQ.’ We truly hope to increasingly capture the attention of our global customers.

Countries around the world are therefore requiring their medical staff to use radiation detectors. Our company is currently supplying them to two hospitals in Thailand. Recently, we’ve even been receiving inquiries from fishermen, due to concerns about radiation contaminated seafood. They can easily measure the contamination-level by using our convenient wrist-worn device,” explained the company’s CEO.
JS TECHWIN holds 18 patents, both domestically and internationally. It has 12 patents registered domestically, and patents registered in six other countries — Germany, France, Italy, the UK, the Netherlands, and Ireland. All of these countries are supplied by competitors, but JS TECHWIN aims to advance into these markets with its excellent ultra-compact radiation dosimeter.

Record-breaking Exports Visible

This year’s exports by Korea are expected to achieve the best performance ever based upon the fact that its exports have been positive for six consecutive months since the new administration took office, reaching $640.2 billion through November — despite a challenging trade environment, including U.S. tariffs, and rising oil prices.
According to the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE), the nation’s exports reached $640.2 billion through November, marking the highest performance ever. This is $11.5 billion higher than the second-highest figure of $628.7 billion recorded in 2022.

This year, the nation’s exports are being driven by the strong competitiveness of key manufacturing industries such as semiconductors, automobiles, ships, and bio, as well as the defense industry. With the global spread of the Korean Wave, Korean consumer goods such as K-food and beauty products are also showing strong performance.
Export markets have diversified beyond their focus on the USA and China, encompassing ASEAN, the EU, and other regions. The number of SMEs exporting reached a record high of 89,000 in the third quarter, with SME exports reaching a record high of $87.1 billion.

Despite the uncertainty stemming from the United States, semiconductors were a major factor in this year’s improved export performance.
Automobile exports also recorded robust performance, rising 13.7% year-on-year. Exports of wireless communication devices and secondary batteries also improved by 1.6% and 2.2%, respectively, during the same period.
With an aim to elevate their sustainable global leadership, Korea’s promising and global- leading companies are ceaselessly making creative efforts to develop and release competitive new items, which are expected to capture keen attention in global markets. Korean companies are strategically eying these global target markets to accomplish their export volume in the New Year — boosted by this year’s excellent performance, despite the increasingly tough market environments.
