AI SPERA’s Security Solutions Drawing Keen Attention of Japanese Market
 

AI SPERA Inc., a cyber threat intelligence company, recently participated in the ‘2024 Korea ICT Expo in Japan.’

The ‘Korea ICT Expo in Japan’, held for two days from November 7 in Tokyo, Japan, is a representative ICT event hosted by KOTRA to create opportunities for cooperation between Japanese and Korean companies in seven fields including AI, robots, smart cities, and information security. It was held for the 19th time this year.

AI SPERA, which has recently established itself as an emerging Korean security company in the Japanese market, has been servicing its main product, ‘Criminal IP,’ in five languages including Japanese for about a year and a half. It already has many individual and corporate customers in the Japanese market, which is known to be strict about localization.

In particular, AI SPERA is accelerating its Japanese business in earnest by signing a supply contract with a Japanese ISP company earlier this year.

On the first day of the event, AI SPERA’s ‘Criminal IP’ exhibition booth attracted the attention of local Japanese buyers. The popularity of Criminal IP in the Japanese market was proven with the endless requests for demonstrations and consultations on ‘Criminal IP ASM’, an attack surface management solution based on IP addresses and domains, and ‘Criminal IP FDS,’ which detects abnormal users and credential stuffing.

In particular, they showed interest in the vast threat intelligence technology of Criminal IP applied to the solution. They paid attention to the attack surface management technology that automatically detects IT assets and evaluates their risk level using only IP addresses and domains ― as well as vulnerability reports and abnormal user detection technology by using AI.

Increasing Awareness of ‘Criminal IP’ in the Japanese Market
A spokesperson for the company explained, “As we have been working hard to collaborate with global companies and localize high-quality products for the past year and a half, the awareness of Criminal IP in the Japanese market and the response from local customers this year are amazing,” adding “We are participating in a series of Japanese business events and increasing our contact points with local corporate customers and buyers, so we expect even more notable results in Japan in the second half of this year and next year.”

Meanwhile, AI SPERA is gaining recognition as a domestic cybersecurity company that stands out in the global security market. Its main product, Criminal IP, is an online monthly subscription security service used by users in approximately 150 countries around the world.

AI SPERA provides services that increase the efficiency of assets and vulnerability management of corporate assets by incorporating generative AI technology into its enterprise attack surface management (ASM) solution, such as automatic detection of malicious URLs and phishing sites and automatic generation of LLM-based vulnerability reports.

AI SPERA is also increasing product reliability and awareness by signing more than 50 global partnerships, including with Cisco, VirusTotal, and CrowdStrike, and entering the global marketplace.
