[INQ. NO. 2506E07] HOSPI successfully introduced its 3D motion capture system, Qualisys, at the recently held 33rd Korea International Broadcasting, Media, Audio & Lighting Show (KOBA 2025).
At this exhibition, HOSPI, in collaboration with content production company Sangsangplace, demonstrated the entire process of virtual content production on-site in real time, drawing great attention from visitors.
In particular, HOSPI provided an opportunity to directly verify the excellent performance of the Qualisys system by precisely implementing the characters’ movements and expressions using high-quality character and background assets produced in-house, and real-time motion capture data. In addition, it simultaneously conducted a live YouTube streaming broadcast to prove its potential as a live broadcast solution.
Unlike existing virtual content that was mainly limited to upper body-centered expressions, Qualisys’ optical motion capture system can accurately capture not only full body movements, but also subtle movements of the fingertips and subtle facial expression changes in facial muscles, and thus reflect them in the character in real time.
This cutting-edge technology has already been successfully applied to the production of domestic and international virtual idols, including the movie ‘Avatar’, Isegye Idol, Plave, and Sphaze.

Through its participation in KOBA 2025, HOSPI has widely demonstrated the technical excellence of the Qualisys system to the industry, while actively showing its potential for expansion into various content fields such as virtual idols, real-time streaming, movies, games, and animation.
