SM Entertainment and Verses have collaborated to establish ‘aespa world’ on the Zepeto metaverse platform. Timed with the release of the fourth mini-album by K-pop sensation aespa, ‘aespa world’ leverages aespa’s universe and the title track ‘Drama’ to allow users to directly experience the metaverse within aespa’s worldview.
aespa world is divided into distinct spaces such as the Lobby, My Stage, Item Shop, and UGC Bulletin Board. Users can explore various objects within this world by navigating their avatars, triggering the playback of ‘Drama’ and other tracks. This interactive space provides a diverse and fresh experience including song and dance.
Notably, aespa world stands out from previous K-pop worlds by incorporating three key features: interactivity, universe implementation, and User-Generated Content (UGC). Users can collect aespa’s musical items, remix them to create their music, and experience interactive content. Furthermore, aespa world faithfully embodies aespa’s world view, allowing users to go through the re-creation process, and create short-form content for sharing.
