Of note, Unidocs has recently signed a contract with a large Japanese software distributor named Sourcenext to first advance into the Japanese market with its “ezPDF reader.” This solution is destined to be localized in Japan with the new localized name of “Ikinari PDF” and to be displaced at some local stores at the same time. This means Unidocs could compete with global Japanese SW companies for the local market where globally famous games software including “Angry Birds” are most frequently created in the world.

A senior executive of the company said “It is the first time for a Korean-made App solution to advance into Japan’s two major wireless communications companies NTT DoCoMo, KDDI simultaneously. I think this advancement shows that we acquired a globallyrecognized technology in this field.”

This ezPDF reader app was already exported to clients in more than 20 nations including the Swiss Fire Department, American Airlines, Israel’s Open University, and recently some Korean companies including GS Caltex, JW Pharmaceutical became major new clients. Moreover, as of August 2013, this app recorded 1.2million downloads.
