At this exhibition, Fodics System recently released AI-NVR, an intelligent video surveillance and analysis system. AI-NVR is a user interface for a network video recorder system that integrates AI technology ― providing video surveillance and management functions.
Fodics System’s AI-NVR operates by linking heterogeneous ultra-high-resolution AI camera information, and when an event occurs, it uses its patented distributed storage technology to search and select CCTV footage around the location more quickly ― in order to support accurate situational judgment and prompt action.
“AI-NVR is used in disaster-related projects promoted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety (MOIS) because it recognizes people’s gender, clothing, faces, vehicles, and license plates. The demand for our equipment mainly comes from government offices,” explained a spokesperson for the company.

According to the company, the camera technology itself has recently become standardized to the point where the technology is similar among companies, but there are differences in the software that utilizes the recorded files.
Fodics System has developed software that can directly distribute and store images, and has advanced items that allow images to be automatically distributed and processed more quickly, and these are being distributed to government organizations. Fodics System has already been selected as an excellent procurement company, generating over 40 billion won in sales, so it is planning to strengthen its overseas sales and enter overseas markets in the future.
