[INQ. NO. 2503E04] Mobilint is a South Korea-based AI chip startup established in 2019 with a mission to bring AI closer to people’s everyday lives with power-efficient, high-performance neural processing unit (NPU) solutions.
Mobilint’s flagship products, ARIES and REGULUS, are advanced NPU chips designed to handle a wide range of deep-learning tasks, from vision AI to LLMs, with state-of-the-art computing efficiency. Mobilint gained early recognition by demonstrating remarkable performance in the global AI semiconductor benchmark MLPerf within a year of its founding.
MLA100 (NPU PCIe Card)
MLA100 is an AI acceleration PCIe card for edge computing. It receives inputs of image, 3D point cloud, etc.) from the host and performs inference operations of the pre-trained AI model.
This product solves the issues of low-AI computational performance, high power consumption, and heating associated with existing AI chips, by using a high-performance, low-power processor. It can be installed in computers with PCIe slots, replacing GPUs.
It is mainly used in high-performance AI edge devices such as smart factories, smart cities, AI CCTV, and on-premise edge servers.

REGULUS (Standalone AI SoC)
REGULUS is a standalone AI SoC for on-device AI, released in the first half of 2024. As a low-power, high-efficiency AI chip comprising CPU, ISP, Codec, and more, it is well-suited to enable AI capabilities in small form factor devices.
Key strengths of this product include ample AI performance, low power consumption, and a compact footprint. With support for communication interfaces like Ethernet, USB, and MIPI, it can be utilized for diverse applications.
REGULUS is mainly leveraged for small edge AI use cases such as AI robots, drones, smart home appliances, smart toys, security systems, AI CCTV cameras, etc. Its balanced capabilities cater efficiently to AI at the edge with tight size, cost, and power constraints.
In 2024, the ultra-low-power REGULUS chip received a CES Innovation Award 2025, further solidifying its position in the industry. Backed by 15.3M USD in Series B funding, Mobilint continues to push the boundaries of edge AI applications.
