Banknote counter & sorter

[INQ. NO. 1502E02] The Newton-F is the world’s first countertop two pocket bill counter and tracker developed by Kisan Electronics. Designed for use by bank tellers as well as various businesses that require fast and accurate bill counting and sorting, the Newton-F can sort different bills using optical recognition and includes a wide variety of features that makes it stand out from other bill counters with limited features.

The unit itself is small and is designed for countertop or bank teller use, unlike similar systems whose bulk limits its use to dedicated sorting rooms or offices. In addition to its size, another feature that stands out is the K-250’s display and interface, a 4.3” TFT touch screen with nine auxiliary physical buttons. The screen features an easy GUI and user friendly icons as well as an enlarged result display. The unit has a dual-pocket design that makes counting and sorting much faster than single-pocket models. The unit has a powerful counterfeit bill detection system with a full package of sensors including ultrasonic sensors. The Newton-F performs both counterfeit detection as well as bill fitness tests simultaneously, checking for counterfeit-resistant tapes, missing parts, graffiti, dog ears and holes and tears. The sensor suite includes ultraviolet, magnetic and infrared sensors in addition to the ultrasonic sensor to ensure complete reliability.

Banknote-counter-&-sorter Another major advantage of the Newton-F is its expandability and optional features. An optional serial number detection package displays and prints serial numbers, and can store a database of serial numbers in the machine.

Manual input is also supported, and bills that fail the serial number detection parameters can be rejected automatically. Another optional feature is a central monitoring system, where units in the same or different locations can be monitored in real-time for better cash management and security. Additional options allow the user to use the unit for processing different currencies including dollars, euros, yens and yuans. The Newton-F is capable of handling up to 1000 notes per minute (npm) for value counting, 800npm for fitness sorting, and 400npm for serial number detecting.
