The South Korean government has increased its budget for security and safety by 39% to US$103.9million for the year 2013. As a following measure, the government announced it will establish Integrated CCTV Monitoring Centers in all 230 local governments. So far, 88 Integrated CCTV Monitoring Centers have been set up and another 142 centers will be constructed from 2013 to 2015.
