AB MEDICAL’s V-Tube is one of the most widely used vacuum blood collecting tubes in the medical fi eld. In order to produce vacuum blood collecting tubes complex manufacturing technology is needed. Those are : 1) reagent making technology, 2) precise and robust component parts, and 3) high-speed dispensing, spraying and vacuum forming automation technology.

There are V-tube production processes with strict sanitary control: gel dispensing, label att aching, tube arrangement, reagent spraying, reagent drying, vacuuming and cap assembling. After the fi nish of assembling, packing and shipping is done.

There are 32 types of products in the V-tube line up according to additives and draw volume and the typical products are as follows: Clot Activator, Clot Activator with Gel, EDTA, Coagulation, etc.

V-Tube of AB MEDICAL is widely provided for many large customers, including general hospitals, university hospitals and medical laboratory centers through distributorship contracts with the Green Cross Corporation, which is famous in the fi eld of medical diagnosis in Korea.

There are three main factors ensuring the superb quality of its evacuated blood collection tubes: Firstly, AB Medical’s own superb reagent technology has been proven to show clinically the same function as BD Vacutainer by Chonnam National University’s Hwasun Hospital.

Secondly, AB Medical’s high technology automatic facility with six patents provides a precise quality with high speed.

Two workers can produce about 12,000 tubes per hour.
