Legacy & Cloud Integrated Management Solution

[INQ. NO. 1811E03] Infranics Co., Ltd., a company specializing in smart ICT platforms, recently unveiled SysMater suite 8.0, an IMC platform based legacy & cloud integrated management solution.
This newly launched SysMater suite 8.0 is its ambitious work that has been developed and completed over a twoyear period and its most important feature is that it supports the integrated management of existing legacy systems and cloud systems. Secondly, it supports open source DB, which is differ from the Oracle DB support-oriented existing version, and thirdly, it was developed to allow the customers to use it much more conveniently by applying HTML5.
The existing version of SysMater suite supports Oracle DB for data collection, storage, and utilization but this version is developed to support open source (Postgres) DBs as well. It is not only due to the trend of conversion, which exceeded original expectations, to the cloud computing environment favored by most customers and also considering the low license cost.
In this regard, a spokesperson for Infranics declared that “Amazon plans to replace Oracle DB completely with open source environment by coming 2020, and KT, domestic IaaS company, cannot support Oracle. Accordingly, two versions of SysMater suite 8.0 have been launched to support all of these environments, so that existing customers can apply SysMater suite along with infrastructure changes without special issues, while customers who review new introductions can introduce selective versions optimized to their own infrastructure environment.”

He also mentioned that SysMater suite 8.0 was developed by applying HTML5 and CSS3 based web standardization in reference to User Interface (UI), which is one of the most popular customers’ demands these days. In other words, it provides a user control screen optimized to multi browsers such as IE (Internet Explorer), Chrome, and Firefox. In addition, operation and management convenience is maximized, as a multi-tab interface was adopted so that users can move and search the most common and related control screens freely, such as performance and failure screens; and also new functions are provided including On Demand Dashboard so that users can organize their own management index in dashboard style as they prefer.
For existing and new customers, Infranics plans promotion as one of strategies for the launch of SysMater suite 8.0, customer services, and business enhancement. In addition, for customers who are operating domestic and foreign legacy and cloud infrastructure in hybrid style, Infranics plans to launch new product combined with on-premises-type cloud services supplied by itself and to expand the market.
Meanwhile, the SysMater suite is a solution developed independently by Infranics and a support solution for easy and simple monitoring and managing of complicated and various management information in complex and diversifying data processing infrastructure system environment based on IMC (Infra Management Cycle) platform.
In other words, the IMC platform consists of four modules: collecting data from various infrastructure systems; monitoring the collected data to provide intuitive views; analyzing/identifying performance and defects through various analyses; and enforcing/controlling the analyzed information to the operation.
Therefore, the IMC platform is considered its independent circulation structure as well as being an infrastructure management platform for the next generation, because it supports hybrid infrastructure integrated management including existing legacies and clouds.
