3D Bio-printer

https://korean-electronics.com//inquiryPensées Inc. showcased its highly advanced 3D bio-printer, called Vitarix, which can be used for artificial tissue generation through the deposition of living cells, at the 35th Korea International Medical & Hospital Equipment Show (KIMES). The new concept of its 3D bio-printer creates desired artificial tissue by stacking the mixture of cell and bio ink which serves to maintain the integrity and the physiology of the living structure. The printed artificial tissue finds a variety of applications in the areas of regenerative medicine and tissue engineering. The distinctive joint structure and sterilization features offer a level of cleanliness and biological safety to the standards of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
Currently, Vitarix is being used in the College of Dentistry of Seoul National University, School of Medicine of Kyung Hee University, Johns Hopkins University, the State University of New York, and other prominent research institutions, particularly in the fields of cancer research, periodontal regeneration and disease models. Furthermore, companies in the pharmaceutical industry are adopting the technology to produce tailor-made stem cell therapies. The applications of the bio 3D printer are expected to expand extensively.
As a bio 3D printing-specialized company established in Korea in 2015, Pensées Inc. has acquired patents for the bio 3D printing ink material as well as the 3D bioprinting technique, to enter the domestic and global markets. Recognized for its excellence in product technology, the company has been proposed to collaborate with renowned research organizations such as Harvard Medical School, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and MD Anderson Cancer Center, for the development and commercialization of artificial tissue. In 2019, the 3D bioprinting company plans to launch a new version of Vitarix, the 3D bio-printing device and VitalinQ, the bio ink material, while the artificial tissue is expected to be commercialized in 2020.
Pensees Inc. is a 3D bio-printer startup from South Korea. VitarixTM is the new Delta-structured bio-printer that allows users to create 3D complex forms of cell mass and tissues for biological experiments. Pensees highly values communication with users and collaboration with industry as well as academia.
