REMED is already proven for its technology since it has been supplying ODM business to a global aesthetics company in the USA. In addition, the company explains that it has differentiated its competitiveness in terms of price compared to existing ODM products in the USA or Europe by reducing costs through self-development and supplying core parts. It is superior to existing products in terms of output of electromagnetic field. This product aims to enter the Asian and European markets as well as the domestic market.
In addition to PERFECT at KIMES, REMED also is showcasing for the first time in the market, UICUBE a device for treating urinary incontinence using electromagnetic field. According to BCC research, the market for global urinary incontinence and overactive bladder treatment market is expected to grow to US$ 4.2 billion by 2022. The UI CUBE from REMED, is differentiated from existing products in terms of user convenience and hygiene as it can be treated without needing to change the bottoms, unlike other existing incontinence treatment devices, by using electromagnetic field that penetrates deep enough to the pelvic floor muscle.
REMED is an electronic medicine company specializing in brain rehabilitation and is pursuing a comprehensive solution for “B to B” business, which stands for Brain to Body.
The company’s brain rehabilitation treatment device has already been approved product certification for depression and is being marketed in Korea and abroad, and clinical trials are underway for developing treatment devices for stroke and dementia. Future studies are being planned or conducted on ADHD, PTSD addiction, sleep disorders, and obesity, and indications for various psychiatric disorders will be added.
Moreover, REMED expressed its ambition to be reborn as a “Global No. 1 electroceutical company” by continuously releasing new products necessary for correcting body shapes through muscle strengthening and treating degenerative diseases in addition to PERFECT and UI CUBE being displayed at KIMES.
