Innovative, Refi ned Portable Secondary Batteries to Meet Growing Global Market Demand
Myung Sung has originally been engaged in the supply of ordinary sales-promotional items. In order to meet the changing market demand, the company plunged into the production of portable secondary batt eries for smartphones in 2012. Since then, it has rapidly emerged as the frontrunner in this fi eld in Korea.
Thanks to their refi ned, customer-oriented design, the fi rm’s portable secondary batt eries have enjoyed explosive demand both at home and abroad.
Last year witnessed the maker’s annual turnover marking about $15 million. The company has expanded its annual production volume for portable secondary batt eries to four million units.
Portable secondary batt eries from the maker come in cylindrical or thin tetragonal design. Most of them are equipped with an LED indicator showing the remaining batt ery power.
Competitive Hot-Selling Models Tapping into the Global Market
Among the manufacturer’s popular K-Series models are K-15, K-13 and K-12. Measuring 145 x 70 x 22mm, they have batt ery capacities of 13,000mAh, 7,800mAh and 5,200mAh, respectively.
Using original Samsung batt eries made in Korea, they come in various colors, including white, gold, dark gray and black. Their patt erned leather design has a luxurious texture. With a high output of 2.1A, they permit silk/color off -set printing.
Recently, the maker has entered the limelight by successfully developing an innovative S.MODO 880 portable secondary batt ery incorporating a solar panel and a wireless charger.
Measuring 121 x 67 x 15mm, the model has a batt ery capacity of 5,000mAh and comes in various colors including green, gray, blue and pink. Its output is 2.4A under wired mode and 1.0A under wireless mode. It permits both UV color and silk printing. Since it permits easy charging regardless of the user’s location, it is ideal for outdoor activities. Under the wireless mode, it provides convenient charge without using cables.
“We take pride in capturing the leading position in the domestic portable secondary batt ery market. It is anticipated that technology for portable secondary batt eries will be applied to the electric home appliance sector. So, plans are afoot to put various convenient portable electric home appliances on the market,” explained company president Kim Myeong-yong.
Operating its own research and development institute, the fi rm is focusing on introducing products with excellent safety, ergonomic design and elegant colors.
Currently running factories in both Korea and China, it aims to become one of the global leaders in the wireless electric home appliance fi eld.
